In the morning, you’ll fly to Urgench and transfer to Khiva. Today, you’ll explore the inner city of Ichan-Qala, surrounded by its old walls. You’ll walk through the streets, visit palaces, mosques, madrasahs, and see the minarets and traditional bathhouses. The area offers a glimpse into life centuries ago with its well-preserved architecture. After a day of sightseeing, you’ll return to your hotel for the night.
Early in the morning, we’ll transfer to Bukhara. The journey takes you through the Kizilkum desert, where you’ll see the Amu Darya River along the way. Once in Bukhara, you’ll have free time to explore the city’s streets, parks, and nearby attractions. After a day of sightseeing at your own pace, you’ll check in to your hotel for the night.
You’ll enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Bukhara. First, you’ll explore the ancient Citadel Ark, followed by a visit to the Samanids’ mausoleum. Next, you’ll see Chashma Ayub, known as Job’s well, and stop by the Bolo-Hauz mosque. Afterward, you can stroll through the bustling shopping domes and visit the Nodir Divan Begi madrasah, part of the Lyabi House Ensemble. The day will end with a visit to the Poi Kalon complex, where you’ll explore its mosque, minaret, and madrasah. After a full day, you’ll return to your hotel for the night.
You’ll spend another day around Bukhara. First, you’ll visit the Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex, a significant pilgrimage site located just outside the city. Day 2 at Samarkand. Start with a visit to the Ulughbek Observatory, followed by a walk along the local Broadway, lined with souvenir shops, teahouses, and workshops. Next, visit the Siab Bazaar, where you can find traditional Uzbek handmade products and local sweets. You’ll also stop by a carpet factory to see women crafting carpets by hand. In the afternoon, you’ll take a train to Tashkent. Overnight at your hotel.
